Ottavio Ciccarelli  (The Big "O")

 

The History of the Company

 

  Born in Arpeni, Italy, a scenic, mountainous region north of Rome - Ottavio Ciccarelli founded O. Ciccarelli & Sons Contracting three years after arriving in Canada, in 1958. Ottavio had already secured a full time job, but wanted more.  What started out as a part-time job to earn extra income, blossomed.  His reputation for consistent, quality work work earned him a growing customer base and by 1970 his part time work force began full time.

  John Ciccarelli the eldest of three sons, began working for his father at that time and was later joined by brothers Larry Ciccarelli and Sandy Ciccarelli.

  Whether it's a pat on the back or a few words of encouragement we all like to be recognized for the work we do and when it comes to the work performed by the Ciccarelli Group, there's no shortage of recognition of a job well done.

  You can either take a drive as far east as South Western Ontario, Greater Toronto or the Golden Horseshoe area to view examples of the work performed by the Ciccarelli Group, or you can view the lobby walls of the family run company's headquarters located at 807 Garner Road East, Ancaster, Ontario. The office displays many Awards of Excellence, as recognized by the Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trades Association. The range of awards' categories are as diverse as the services offered by The Ciccarelli Group.
